Seems as though Cooper Lawrence should do more research before reporting on the next hit video game. The author criticized Mass Effect for being pornographic and sexually explicit on the Fox News program “The Live Desk with Martha MacCallum,” which was based on her asking someone else what they had heard (good detective work right there). The best part? Gamers lashed out by submitting reviews on Amazon.com to Lawrence’s most recent book “The Cult of Perfection: Making Peace with Your Inner Overachiever,” sending its user-generated rating into oblivion. In one week, 412 of the book’s 472 user reviews were one star. Unfortunately, Amazon.com has removed the extraneous reviews, leaving on the one’s that people actually read.
